In early 2016, I formed a band with my friends called Courtney From Work, named after a dude we used to work with at McDonald’s. Since then, we have consistently been putting out catchy garage rock albums and EPs, and playing shows all over Columbus and around the midwest.
All music is written by me and performed in studio and live by the band.

As long as I’ve been in a band, I’ve also made solo music on the side, purely out of boredom more than anything. Over the years, I’ve released various albums and EP’s under my real name, but it wasn’t until August of 2023 when I came up with a little more time on my hands that I decided to self record and produce a full length bedroom rock album, which I titled Lotus (my cat who is the subject of many of the songs on the album) and released in September that year under my Instagram name, jakeydelicious.
When my dog Astro coincidentally passed away around that same time, I immediately got to writing darker acoustic songs grieving and how it made me feel. In no time, I had another album’s worth of songs, so by September of 2024 I was able to finish and release my second self recorded album, Astro.
I have even more music (not about pets!) that I plan to release in 2025 and beyond.
